Emissions Monitoring System

The ABYSS Flue Gas Analyser (NDIR, Electrochemical and TCD) series is specially designed for continuous and simultaneous monitoring of primary combustion gas constituents NO, SO2, CO2, CO and O2. Fitted with on board BTU calculation, the ABYSS flue gas analyser fulfils the requirements of medium to large scale combustion plants including coal fired power stations, biomass gasification or pyrolysis, off-gas from steel and iron plant, Blast furnace, Coking, Converter, Direct Iron Ore Smelting Reduction, Endo & Exo Gas Generators for heating treating. It is based on the micro-flow type non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) method for CO, CnHm, CO2 and uses a Electrochemical cell for O2.

ABYSS® SAMPLING SYSTEM

When sampling gas from gasification process, pyrolysis, off-gas from steel plant or blast furnace (…) the use of a dedicated sampling system is necessary to ensure reliable application specific sample preparation. AquaGas Sampling equipment and solutions cover a large range of applications within combustion processes. Our gas coolers, heated sampling probes, heavy duty pumps (…) enable efficient emissions measurement with automated sampling sequences, multipoint monitoring, high performance gas conditioning and deep tare filtration features.

The ABYSS Syngas 19”inch rack mount enclosure fitted with LCD screen, safety filter and built-in flowmeter enables efficient continuous measurement of up to 6 gases in emissions and process gas.
Fast and reliable online Syngas Monitoring
An automatic built-in gas diluter reduce instruments recovery time in case of high and unstable gas concentrations. The ABYSS analysers are built, calibrated and factory tested in Belgium and certified C.E. by Ankersmid Sampling BVBA.

ASP Stationary Gas Sampling Probe

The ASP Sampling Probe temperature controlled versions (user adjustable up to 320°C) is available in three different lengths and is designed to provide reliability in applications with high acid gases concentration, heavy dust load, and harsh installation environment. The ASP300 provide the choice of different lengths of filter element for three levels of dust load. A 150mm filter suits for most of the applications with dust concentration up to 1g/m3. With the 180mm filter element, a larger filtering surface allows sampling gases containing up to 4g/Nm3 of Dust. For extreme conditions, the 500mm model filter enables reliable sampling gases with dust load up to 10 g/Nm3 as standard and 20 g/Nm3 with the backflush.

AHL Heated Sample Lines

The AHL electrically heated sample lines series is designed for connecting to all type of sampling equipment. The use of heated line ensures that the gas components in the sample stream remain above their respective dew point and thereby eliminates the risk of condensation. Thanks to a modular design and a large selection and combination of options, the heated lines AHL ensures safe and reliable sample transfer within CEMS or process monitoring systems. The ATEX heated sample lines series AHLX are designed to transport sample gas through explosive zone type 1 or 2.

ASS Stationary Gas Sampling System

The ASS Stationary Sampling System is a high performance complete gas conditioning system designed for CEMS – Continuous Emissions Monitoring and process control. The entire gas conditioning system is deliv-ered ready for installation in cabinets, rack or wall mounted. The ASS features fully automated sampling sequences, sample flow adjustment, continuous water vapour and sample condensate removal, particulate filter and a PFA coated heat exchanger coupled with a powerful Peltier cooler. Its design and construction ensure reliable sample preparation without loss and prevents damage on the analysis system used downstream with a sample outlet dew point at 4°C.

ABYSS® Explosion Proof Sampling System

Ankersmid ATEX certified Sampling System components can be installed in explosive areas (Zoning: II2G EEx d e ib IIC T3, II3G, Ex nR IIB T3, Ex II 3G Ex ma IIA T3, Ex II 3D Ex ma IIIB and more). The ATEX Sampling System product range offers Ex proof rated site specific options with Exd-temperature sensor type Pt100, controlled by an ATEX-certified controller-limiter unit. The sampling system components are delivered with valid ATEX-certificates for all electrical components and available with various filter element lengths and materials.

Gas Treatment centre GTC

Accuracy and high reliability in harsh conditions of operations makes the ABYSS® Flue Gas Analyser a powerful optimisation tool for waste recycling facilities (incinerator, water treatment plant).

SCR and SNCR Selective non-catalytic and catalytic reductions are designed to reduce the emissions of NOx by injecting ammonia is directly injected at the combustion chamber exhaust. This process causes the nitrogen oxides to react with the ammonium and turn into nitrogen and water. The ABYSS® Flue Gas Analyser is suited to upstream and downstream SNCR/SCR monitoring and provides plants operator with accurate data to control NOx regulatory emissions while optimising the denitrification process with upstream NOx measurements.

GTC and flue gas scrubbers reduce the emissions of acid gases such as SO2 with pulverised lime powder or solutions while the discharge of heavy metals and organic pollutants is controlled with the addition of activated carbon. Online monitoring of O2, SO2 upstream of the GTC allows reducing the quantity of reagents injected.
