AquaGas SmartCEMS at the largest fertilisers plant

One of the largest ammonia production sites in the in the southern hemisphere, located North West Western Australia, has selected AquaGas Pty Ltd for the supply of two complete the supply of AquaGas SmartCEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Stations) with Data Acquisition and Reporting system to ensure compliance with the WA CEMS code at their boiler and reformer facilities.

The AquaGas SmartCEMS were supplied in 2019 by AquaGas Pty Ltd and feature automated redundancy, state-of-the-art emissions reporting systems, automatic functions such as 7-day drift test and monthly calibration checks, and software-assisted RATA validation. The two systems are integrated in walk-in shelters, enabling the client to reach more than 98% data availability and RATA compliance for NOX, CO, O2, SO2, VOC and Flow since 2019.

These two CEMS and the full range of associated services provided by AquaGas Pty Ltd enabled our client to achieve excellent environmental performances and trouble-free compliance with WA CEMS code. The ammonia produced at this site is primarily used in fertilizers, a key element in the agricultural industry in Australia and abroad., and with AquaGas SmartCEMS solutions, this production can be done in an environmentally responsible manner.
